The Liberia Intellectual Property Office (LIPO) proudly joins the global community in celebrating World Book and Copyright Day on April 23, 2026, under the theme “Reading for Change: Empowering Young Minds through Books and Innovation.”

This important day, established by UNESCO, highlights the power of books, creativity, and intellectual property in shaping knowledge-driven societies and fostering innovation among young people.

As part of this year’s celebration, LIPO will host an engaging awareness event aimed at promoting a reading culture and strengthening understanding of copyright protection among students and the general public.
