Requirements and Steps
Step 1

LIPO reviews the application to ensure all required documents and formalities are properly completed.
Step 4
Examination of Originality
The design is examined to determine whether it is new, original, and eligible for protection.
Step 5
Publication
Approved applications may be published in the Official Journal for public notice and transparency.
Step 6
Registration & Certificate
Once approved, the industrial design is registered and a certificate of protection is issued.
