Symposium held with over fifty students from seven high schools in Monrovia.

A one-day symposium was held on April 20th with over fifty students from seven high schools in Monrovia, IP practitioners, and small business owners, this gathering-mostly women-was intended to shed light on the importance of women’s participation in creative and innovative endeavors, especially with the need to harness IP as a vital tool for economic gains.

During the said event, the Director General of LIPO, Cllr. P. Adelyn Cooper cautioned the audience to see Intellectual Property as means of advancing their academic and business activities – as IP is a valuable tool that enables one to explore their creative and innovative geniuses.

The panelist on the other hand stressed on the importance of women supporting each other-as women play key roles in promoting and preserving society and cultural wealth.
